EXO is one of the most coveted idol groups in the Kpop world. Debuted in 2011 under SM Enetertainment, they started as a 12-member boy group that reached many heights even in their early 2 year run through their great breakthrough with "GROWL", their repackaged album that followed their 1st ever full-length album "XOXO". Collectively, all the versions of the XOXO album won Album of the Year at the 2013 Mnet Asian Music Awards and sold over 1 million copies, becoming the best-selling album in Korea since 2001. Following their success, they released their mini album "Overdose" in May 2014 that reached 660,000+ preorders before its release, making it the most pre-ordered mini-album in history.
Along with their on going success though, EXO-M Leader, Kris, unexpectedly filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment to terminate his contract with them for being treated unfairly and for violating human rights, On October of the same year, Another Chinese member, Luhan filed a lawsuit against SM too, to nullify his contract due to health issues, and other issues regarding being treated differently from the Korean members.
The issues with the Chinese members left a deep impression both on their fans and non-fans, since it wasn't even a new issue with the said company. And though both Kris (Wu Yi Fan) and Luhan are working on a new platform in China now, most of their fans still considered them EXO members.

EXO - K
SUHO
Real Name: Kim Joon Myeon

* He may look cute and youthful but Xiumin is in fact the OLDEST in EXO.

* He joined S.M. Entertainment in 2008 after a successful audition with the company's global casting system in Changsha.

* He had the shortest training period in EXO-M, with only eleven months of training under SM Entertainment.
* Chen is one of the members in EXO that are not really good in dancing, but according to the record at present, the members said that he has been the most improved among them when it comes to that area now with their CALL ME BABY comeback.

* He also won the "Top Rap Award" at Beijing 3rd Annual Collage Street Jam.
