Lay said in the interview that he actually talked to the members one by one about setting up the studio in China actually told the members about setting up the studio in China (before even telling the company) and they were all supportive of him. They said "Gege, Jiayou/hwaiting."
He said that the reasons why he suggested the work office in China are because he wanted to go back to see the fans more, have more activities, learn more things there, and of course have more chances to see his family there.
He also mentioned that when it comes to hiring people, he will bbe fair andwon't be biased towards fans who apply just because they're his fans.
